The JRCS’s activities in the affected areas during the recovery period
Immediately after the disaster, the JRCS started Relief and Recovery Programmes (Recovery Assistance Programmes) by utilizing overseas donations. These programmes were planned, taking requests from the affected people and municipalities into consideration. Approximately, 99% of the overseas donations have already been spent for the affected areas by the end of FY2019. In the future, they will be embedded into the activities continued in the communities in the affected areas.
